Your primary objective for this position is to successfully launch and manage the ecommerce business (with the support of the current team and consultants), generating a fast growth in creative way.   Ecommerce is part of a larger omnichannel and digital transformation project where you must be actively involved. As a result, you will not only be responsible for the ecommerce business stream but also for the performance of other important digital sales channels: marketplaces & 3rd party websites.   You will manage an interdisciplinary team that comprises digital marketing, operations and sales profiles and, as a manager, you must hire and train them. You will also have to interact and create synergies with other areas of the company: commercial, marketing, operations, IT, administration, etc.  Besides the coordination of your dedicated team and of shared services within the company, you will contract and manage the required outsourced services that support ecommerce operations.   You must have the necessary knowledge of the full ecommerce value chain and you will be responsible to optimize and maximize its general performance.   You must have a strong commitment to excellence, an analytical profile, a robust organization capacity and strong leadership & management skills. You will frequently report to the Top Management and directly report to the office of the CEO.



  • Launch of the ecommerce business
  • Create a strategy for ecommerce, marketplaces and third party websites
  • Define, structure and monitor ecommerce objectives and KPI’s
  • Ensure the performance of the ecommerce channel
  • Ensure the performance of marketplaces and third party websites
  • Manage the ecommerce team’ and projects
  • Embody the vision and values of the company
  • Manage the ecommerce P&L
  • Promote the omnichannel customer experience
  • Validate processes to optimize ecommerce operations
  • Partner with the client’s merchandising team to understand strengths in the assortment, sales trends, and future opportunities
  • Identify new deployments/tools needs for the ecommerce channel
  • Validate the prioritization of features for each version of the platform
  • Ensure the on time release of each new version of the platform
  • Supervise contracts and commercial agreements with agencies and partners
  • Validate the digital marketing strategy and budget
  • Validate the content creation strategy


  • 3+ years experience in managing ecommerce operations of over $2M MXN per year.
  • Experience in web analytics and or digital marketing is a plus
  • Excellent relationship building skills, plus a proven track record of leadership across functional lines
  • Experience in managing a marketing P&L for ecommerce
  • Experience in managing directly a team of over 5 people
  • Strong consumer understanding skills, ability to translate customer insights into a successful marketing strategy and a high degree of creativity to find new, compelling ways to reach and communicate to consumers

  • Education in ecommerce/ digital marketing is a plus

  • Fluent Spanish and English
