Description:

Your main objective is the day–to-day ecommerce operations. Part of your main responsibilities will be to develop and manage the operation and implementation strategies, to define and deliver innovative systems and processes, to enable the execution of the whole ecommerce operations team and to contribute to one of the best ecommerce projects in Mexico.   You need a wide knowledge on ecommerce implementation and a strong experience on building a business from the beginning, including managing and supervising all the supply chain, customer experience, logistics & project management agile methodologies.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Perform quality controls and monitor KPI’s
  • Forecast operational requirements
  • Define the annual budget, analyze financial variances & initiate corrective actions
  • Monitor the Operations budget & expenses reports
  • Manage payment & fraud prevention strategies
  • Manage inventory and coordinate availability of products
  • Manage payment & fraud prevention strategies
  • Analyze process workflow and implement changes
  • Contribute to improve the customer service through regular feedback
  • Enforce standards and procedures, complying with safety regulations
  • Optimize inventory management & warehouse efficiency
  • Anticipate the workload of season peaks (Hotsale, Buen fin, etc)
  • Examine financial data/statements and improve profitability
   

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years experience in managing ecommerce operations
  • Adequate knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management
  • Excellent relationship building skills, plus a proven track record of leadership across functional lines
  • Strong customer experience understanding skills.
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Basic IT knowledge (databases, MS Office, etc)
  • Operational systems knowledge: ERP, CMS, WMS, Order Management system
  • Strong communication capabilities
  • Team Management skills
  • Fluent English and Spanish
